GENETIC TESTING: We take our commitment to the breed very seriously by going beyond surface testing with hips and eyes. In an effort to protect our gene pool and preserve genetic diversity in our Standard Poodles, we accomplish DNA testing for several deleterious mutations. We test for Degenerative Myelapathy (DM), Neonatal Encephalopathy (NEwS), and vonWillebrands Type I (vWD). DM, NEwS and vWD results are registered on the respective health records for our Standard Poodles with www.offa.org
Select Juvenile Renal Dysplasia (JRD) markers with DOGenes in CANADA and Coat Color testing with VetGen and/or DDC labs have been accomplished. These results are not posted on OFA, but are available in hard copy format with each puppy pack. Details are noted on our Genetic Testing Page .

On January 9 and 10, 2010 in Santa Rosa CA at the Winter Sieger International Dog Show, Our CH Ciciley not only Finsihed her National and International Titles, UCI, she won 3 Best in Shows and a Reserve Best in Show BBE. Many thanks to the Judges that saw the potential in our girl and for putting her up over the 7 other breeds represented in the ring on Sunday, Jan 10, 2010.
Our Multi-Champ Marquis Diamond-DancingCloud Ciciley is the Daughter of our Multi-Champion Missy and the Grandaughter of our Foundation Sire, Dual Champion Boulie and Pinafore SeaSprite.

AKC/INT/GRCH Antigua Don't Look Back (Black) X UKC CH Sanvar's Ruby Tuesday (Brown) had eight pups January 16, 2010.
'We have (left to right above) a White Male, Brown Male and White Female. Pictures are noted. They are available for their new homes March 12, 2010 and thereafter. Both Valentino and Ruby have been color tested and have Non-Fading Alleals, DD. We expect the color in the brown pup to be rich, dark and non-fading.
These pups will be ready to home mid-March, 2010. There will be select companion and performance pups available from this combination breeding of 2 of our flashy champions.
Champion Valentino is our boy and Champion Ruby Tuesday is owned by Carolyn Carroll of Mithril Standard Poodles, Kempner TEXAS. Ruby is in residence with Marquis Diamond Standards thru mid-2010.
