GENETIC TESTING: We take our commitment to the breed very seriously by going beyond surface testing with hips and eyes. In an effort to protect our gene pool and preserve genetic diversity in our Standard Poodles, we accomplish DNA testing for several deleterious mutations. We test for Degenerative Myelapathy (DM), Neonatal Encephalopathy (NEwS), and vonWillebrands Type I (vWD). DM, NEwS and vWD results are registered on the respective health records for our Standard Poodles with www.offa.org
Select Juvenile Renal Dysplasia (JRD) markers with DOGenes in CANADA and Coat Color testing with VetGen and/or DDC labs have been accomplished. These results are not posted on OFA, but are available in hard copy format with each puppy pack. Details are noted on our Genetic Testing Page .
We are proud to announce a Long-Awaited combination breeding of AM/INT/GR CHAMPION Antigua Don't Look Back (Black) X Mithril-Marquis Diamond Co Co Channel (Brown) of 8 Black and Brown, Male and Female puppies born August 6, 2010. They will be ready to rehome October 8, 2010 and thereafter. The pictures above were taken when the pups were 3 weeks and 2 days old, Sunday, August 29, 2010.
Valentino and CoCo, are color tested and carry the NON-FADING ALLEAL, DD. We expect rich, dark brown and Inky black pups.
Both of our Standard Poodles, Valentino, AKC #PR07876702, CHIC #47891 and CoCo, AKC # PR09624903, CHIC # 55516 are Fully Genetically tested and their individual Health records are listed on OFA for REVIEW by Clicking here for Valentino and here for CoCo. Valentino Stands 25" tall and weighs 60 pounds. Co Co stands 24" tall and weighs 45 pounds. We expect their pups to grow right in the middle of the Breed standard at 24 " to 26 " tall.

Our puppies are born in our home, are raw fed a homemade diet, AKC/UKC Registerable, implanted with an Avid Euro Microchip with a PrePaid Chip Registration, given age appropriate innoculations, groomed weekly from their 4th week of life and temperment tested utilizing the Volhard method prior to going to their new homes. A complete puppy layette and new bed accompany each puppy when they leave our home. We genetically guarentee our puppies for their lives.
